A successful Master Plan Update for Keiser Park is made possible through active community participation. Outreach events are designed to give you — the community — a forum to let us know your visions and priorities for updating Keiser Park. Those ideas guide the project process and become the basis for the proposed design. Community outreach and engagement is key to ensuring that the final plan accurately and holistically represents the Town of Windsor and its diverse residents.
Round One of outreach for this project included a community survey, focus group interviews, and three pop-up events at the Town Green in Spring/Summer 2022. The goal of this round was to get a general feel for what the community likes and wants changed in Keiser Park and to cultivate ideas for how the park could be improved and expanded.
View a summary of findings.
Round Two begins in February 2023 and will include virtual and in-person opportunities for the community to provide input on the design process. This is where you’ll start to see a potential vision for the park coming together. The goal of this round is to determine community priorities and gain feedback on the alternative concept plans for Keiser Park’s expansion.
